Silaiwali Doll | Neutral Tunic & Black Pant

Silaiwali is a doll-making social enterprise that makes its magical pieces from recycled waste fabric leftover from the mass clothing industry. Each ragdoll is handmade by Afghani Refugee women in a studio in New Delhi. The dolls are made displaying a range of skin tones to showcase ethnic diversity, and wear beautiful embroidered kaftans, tunics, and headscarves - a far cry from the plastic, pink-clad dolls we grew up with, these are women of the world. Each wears a hand-stitched garment and comes in its own little cardboard bed, complete with cotton mattress, duvet, and pillow. Each piece also come with a little card with a link to an online video showing each doll's individual journey and its maker.

We think that these are beautiful simply as ornaments for the home, but also make for special children's gifts for them to treasure and love.

Each doll comes with its own paper box and cotton bedding (bedding colour and pattern varies)
